I wish is in Swansea right now, getting drunk with my friends from University. Due to lack of funds, I am not. :(
This song has been in my head thanks mainly due to adverts. Also I love the band name “Stealing Sheep”.
You should’ve got a better bed,
better for your head,
better heads need shut eye.

if you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe.
Now, I play the waiting game.
The interview seemed to go fairly well, I think I managed to give reasonable answers to all his questions. Some of them may have lacked depth of explanation but I had the advantage of knowing the interview from my TEFL training. Some of the questions I wasn’t really expecting but I think I managed to make a good impression of myself. I feel fairly confident now after the interview. That’s the opposite of how I felt last time. This probably doesn’t bode well for me as last time I got the job. Apparently they’re letting everybody know whether or not they’ve got the job at the end of today! So I’m gonna have that weird butterflies feeling for the rest of the day. I think this should be a good day!
I’ve got an interview on Monday morning for teaching in some English Camps in China!
Excited!!
It’s techincally a voluntary job, but flights, accomodation and food are all included. In addition there’s £250 a week stipend.
Some interview practice this weekend is needed I think!
It’s 1:30AM on a friday night/saturday morning. Here is my massively geeky question for you, Tumblr.
Reavers vs The Borg, who would win?
A couple of days I got a job offer by email from someone who saw my CV on a job seeking website. The problem is the job seemed too good to be true. A high wage for relatively few hours and absolutely no job details in the email.
Scam, was the word at the forefront of my mind. Although, the website that they got my email address from charges around £200 a day for prospective employers to browse CVs. I temporarily gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent them my contact details without any personal information that wasn’t already on my CV.
Later on, I showed the email to my mother who pointed out that they had spelled “business” as “busines” in their email address. Also, when we searched for the name of the company online, the most likely website that came up was appallingly designed and also seemed like a scam. So I decided that if they did ring me I would ask a lot of questions and not give them my bank details or other private information.
Today, I received and email from them with full job details, and a link to their website (this time a professional one with lots of information) with more information about the job and a list of frequently asked questions.
I am now much more inclined to think of it as a real job. However, the possiblity it is a scam is still resonating inside my head. I will show the new email and website to my mother and ask for her to have a look.
I really hope this is real.
I just watched 101 Dalmatians again, and I’m now wondering what on earth raccoons and a skunk are doing in south-east England. I’m fairly certain they’re not native to this country. Maybe they escaped from a zoo??
